Hempel Sound has been operating for over 40 years providing the best sound and video performance to our clients. When you come to us you will be dealing with one person from conception to completion of your custom hifi audio video system. Our systems only incorporate the best components available with tried and tested performance and reliability.

Showrooms
We have a solution for anything you can come up with and can also demonstrate options you may not be aware of. We have three seperate listening facilities with integrated custom hifi audio visual systems that can demonstrate all formats to the best of their ability. We stock a large range of source material and encourage you to bring some of your favourites.

Cabling
We are licensed to perform all cabling which we do and only use the best cabling and connections available. Our brands of cabling will improve your system and we can demonstrate the effects of any upgrade cabling on our systems here at the shop.

We can eliminate all the remotes in your life and leave you with one simple integrated solution to suit your lifestyle. Our specialty is in dedicated theatre rooms where we bring together every aspect of design and integration to provide our clients with turn key solutions and ultimate Sound with Vision performance.

Multi-Room
We are masters of multi-room audio video systems and can incorporate all of your technology into a dedicated racking solution on your premise where sources are controlled to any number of High Definition screens or hifi loudspeakers.

Electrical and Antenna Systems
We have access to the most robust and reliable power solutions to protect our systems. Our electrical work is second to none and we use the best compression tools and crimps available to ensure perfect reception. All electrical and antenna work is carried about by licensed professionals who have worked for us for over 20 years.

Networking
Our systems often involve networked computers providing audio and video to many HD screens or hifi speakers at once. We incorporate your digital life without compromise.

History

Established in 1969 and originally located at Spring Street, Chatswood, our company entered the newly emerging specialist Hi Fi and TV market, with the intention of providing our clients with intelligent, informed advice on what was then frightening, new technology. High Fidelity Audio, until the late sixties, had been the sole domain of the electronic hobbyist.

Over the next 10 years we rapidly established a name and reputation, which allowed us not only to survive, but flourish on word-of-mouth advertising and customer referrals.

In 1979, the size of the business had increased to the extent that the existing premises in Chatswood were no longer adequate. Consequently we moved to our present location in Roseville where we have now traded for the past 30 years.

As technology changed and customers demanded simplification and also automation of their technology needs, the custom installation side of the business was expanded. Along with the rapid growth in "Home Theatre", - this has become a major part of our business during the last 12 years.

Our reputation for high quality workmanship and our low profile has enabled us to provide Sound and Vision for some of Sydney's most prestigious homes, where discretion and confidentiality are of paramount importance.

We enjoy a unique relationship with our suppliers, many of whom we have been dealing with for over 22 years. We are one of the oldest names in Hi Fi retailing with a team of dedicated staff members, as well as a team of contract installers.

We believe we offer a unique service, without compromise, also in repair and associated trades, to our industry.
